RPM Transmissions

I got seriously over charged for a repair they said they had to drop the transmission for. Crank case bolts were not touched. Later I learned the actual location of the sensor they needed to change. They charge me $1,800 for a rapair that all data says take .6 hours. And get this the sensor isn’t even inside the transmission it’s a crank shaft position sensor. It’s outside, next to the oil filter on the engine. You aren’t honest and that’s sad coming from a family owned shop. The best part is you guys said it would take 2 days. It took a week. I can't say enough positive about RPM. A friend recommended them when we first moved to Tallahassee. Now we use them for all of our auto repairs and maintenance. They are friendly, efficient, and fair. Only negative is that the location is not convenient; but it's worth going across town for this level of service. Seems like they have many loyal customers and word-of-mouth referrals.

Everyone I have dealt with here has been great! The first time I went was with a beat up old truck they probably didn't even want to work on. The problem could have been the transmission needed to rebuilt or whatever (I don't remember) that would have been a lot cheaper. I figured it needed to be rebuilt, but they said no and fixed it. That was a bunch of years ago. I have had them do everything I need on 2 different vehicles. No complaints ever. They have always been honest and looked out for me. I don't care if they ever make a mistake (we all do). I know they will take care of it and me. Wish everyone did business they way they do!

These guys do way more than just transmission repairs. Take your vehicle to them no matter the issue.The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The rates are affordable. The performed work is excellent.
