Rush Truck Centers - Macon

My experience at this location has been THEE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!! The employees here are the LEAST KNOWLEDGEABLE I have ever seen and they COMPLETELY LACK any customer service skills. I placed a order for Parts using my VIN they gave me an incorrect part the gentlemen I spoke to over the phone acknowledged that THEY gave me the wrong part but did NOT offer an apology or anything for all intents and purposes he told me I could take myself down there to change it out I explained to him that I was broken down at the truck stop and had already spent $50 to get there and back in an uber he didn’t seem to care about any of that or the fact that they had made a mistake he again repeated that I could come back he lacked any kind of customer service skills whatsoever he didn’t offer an apo

I can't tell you about the rush in Macon Georgia I've never talked to nobody there and I have been calling for 15 years but I found a gentleman that works for Rush whose name is Tom Ballew out of Oklahoma this guy is one of the greatest parts man you could ever get on the other end of a phone this guy is professional knowledgeable and just a good guy I've used Tom for years now I call him direct and is a awesome experience I recommend anybody to enjoy that experience one time

I can’t speak for the service department but the people who work in the parts department are very friendly and informative. They had a sale going on batteries and I needed to get a fresh set in my truck before the cold months come. I was very happy with the price and the hospitality I was shown by the staff here.

We were driving through GA on our way to Dillard and had a red stop engine light come on our Winnebago RV and after not getting a tow from Grey GA( we waited 5 hours with no tow- Thanks AAA and Good Sam) we ended up driving slowly back into town and the great group of guys at Rush took us in and in a few hours figured out our issue and got us fixed. I would like to thank the entire team as we didn’t have an appointment and they put their mobile tech guy exclusively on our coach and he was great. Now we can finish our trip and head to Dillard and then NC for a few weeks. No more amber or red lights on our dash. Thank you Rush team! Manny & Kim.

I'm only awarding 2 stars because Josh saved the parts counter....smh. I've NEVER in the two years I've dealt with Rush International Truck Centers been treated, away from the counter like this....Story: Before coming here to buy a seat, another location looked at the local inventory near me and saw that the Macon store had seats in stock that would fit my 2012 Prostar. I asked him to connect me, he explained that he recommended that I go by, and not call. I said I couldn't just drop by, I'd call, his response was "good luck getting an answer"....I was perplexed.
