Russell Speeder's Car Wash

Completely predatory. I was given a free car wash coupon from a business and I was in the area so I figured I’d stop by. I thought it was gonna be as simple as showing them the barcode and I’d get my free car wash. However, I was shocked when all of a sudden the guy at the entry wouldn’t take no for an answer. For about 5 minutes all I said was no to a membership and that I just want a car wash and he would not stop badgering me to sign up for 9.99 and how “he hears me saying no however….” And “he has no problem charging me full price next time I come” (there will be no next time.) And that if I wanted to use the vacuums I would need to get the 9.99 membership. Additionally, my truck was not even cleaned in any way. I’ll attach pictures of the stains and bird poop still left on my truck.

Nayeli was a wonderful car wash attendant, she asked if I had anything I needed help with. She pointed me in the right direction for the mat wash & was very courteous. I truly love this car wash . I recommend all my friends. I was initially greeted Collin and his other attendees , always a wonderful experience when I come here. I tell all my friends.

Joey, Frankie, Brody, and Nikki were amazing. This team in Waterbury is the best. Would highly recommend this if you want your car to look good day in and day out.

I live less than a mile from this place. My wife and son have been there numerous times and the most common feature is the attempt to get you to buy the "membership" at length instead of just washing your car. So I have avoided it. I finally had to cave after a trip to the shore ended up with some impressive gull poop action on my trunk. Plain as the nose on your face. Sure enough, I get 5 minutes of the sales routine. But I warded it off and went through the carnival-like tunnel. And the gull poop was still there. Maybe 35% gone. Note to Russell: You'll never sell a membership to a guy when you can't clean his car right the first time. Unfortunately, this company is buying up all the indie car washes around here, so it will be like the Old Soviet Union. Only if you're desperate, folks

Justyn helped me out with my mats great service !! First time coming to get a free car wash. The attendant sold me instantly on the reflection package for a huge discount. After we got the car washed and went to go vacuum. The concierges Joey, nate, and Justin came over to the car ran us down everything they have to offer and took our floor matts in and washed them for us. Planning on using this atleast once a week. 100% service. Definitely a spot to check out for a clear ride
