S & B Repair

Update: the engine is confirmed blown. Our mechanic found that the oil pressure screen was completely removed prior to sale. Which confirms that this was a known issue. I have been trying to gather my thoughts for hours. And I think I’m finally ready. My husband bought me a 2008 Yukon XL from here 3 weeks ago from today. It turns out that this vehicle that was advertised as great and ready to go, perfect for a family, etc…… has an engine failure. My dream car. Is a total loss. The car that is supposed to transport my 3 young children. My family is now out $5,000 AND a vehicle just before Christmas. I now literally do not have a vehicle. I bought a car actually two cars from him within a month the first one broke down the transmission was trash with in 5 months the second one broke down the steering was faulty the mechanic said he should have never sold the car he cares nothing about his customer only money my steering went out while driving with my 2 year old in the car i had to report him for safety reasons i pay 7000$ for a car that lasts only 5 months it crazy DO NOT BUY FROM HIM OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

Never going anywhere else, excellent work and prices from a very skilled mechanic. When things were urgent S&B pulled through quickly and professionally.

Steve is a knowledgeable and reasonably priced mechanic. I've used him for inspection and minor repairs. I have always been satisfied. I've also bought an inexpensive car As Is from him. It had mechanical trouble within a few days and even though it was As Is he repaired it at no cost.

My go-to place for all repairs and maintenance for the last 4 years. Steve is everything I can ask for in mechanic - honest, personable and gets the job done. There were a few times when he referred me to someone else because they were either more skilled or qualified (and cheaper) for some repairs.
