**SCAM - NEVER AGAIN** I rented a car from this company so that my fiancé and I could drive around Miami when we were there for vacation - my only regret is that I did this without looking at the reviews for this place... lesson learned. When we arrived at the place to pickup our car, there was a guy that said he doesn't have any sort of reservation under my name - I was shocked and I was sure that this was a mistake because my credit card was already charged the full amount and I received a "Rental Confirmation" to my email. He said that because we didn't pick up at the EXACT time I filled out online (just to be clear, we were late by not even a full 2 hours due to our layover flight being delayed), that they gave the car away to someone else and that they had no more cars left to rent f

Safe Ride Rental Car in Tampa advertises $10 a day rentals, but that’s a lie. When I arrived, they told me my full coverage State Farm insurance “wasn’t enough” and tried to force me to buy their $30/day insurance, turning it into $40 a day. I told them I’d rather rent from Hertz since it’s easier and more reputable. They said I could email for a refund, I did, three times and never heard back. Do yourself a favor and read all the one-star reviews before you waste your time here. You’ll see the same story repeated over and over. The handful of five-star reviews are clearly fake. Run, don’t walk, away from this company. Total bait and switch.

Be careful – they are scammers! The prices on their website look very attractive and everything seems perfect, but once you arrive, you’ll find out there are mandatory extra fees that were listed as “optional” online. Also, take a closer look at the reviews – there are many negative ones, but they’re buried under a large number of fake positive comments. This is a deliberate attempt to hide the truth. I do not recommend this place!

I don’t normally leave reviews but I had such a pleasant experience that I needed to share it !!! With having family come down to visit from Pittsburg for Christmas I went ahead and looked around for not only an affordable car rental but one with nice cars ! Saferide went above and beyond. I think the price was outstanding especially during the holiday. They where able to provide transportation to and from the airport to their location. I had made the reservation online and had no issues ! Car was the same one we requested and was in great clean condition! Overall a great experience. Will be using Saferide again !!

The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making sure I had everything I needed. The shuttle service was quick and convenient, and my car was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Prices were fair, and there were no unexpected fees. I will definitely be renting from Saferide again in the future. Highly recommend!
