Sam's Club Tire & Battery

Poor experience and customer service. I scheduled an appointment a week in advance and they didn’t start on my vehicle until a hour later. Then, they refused to work on my vehicle since the lug nuts were on “too tight” and they didn’t want to be held responsible if they broke. They told me to go to another mechanic to have them loosened (crazy because aren’t they mechanics?) and come back. By the time I left, I was missing a lug nut(no they didn’t replace it) and they had odd markings on them. Discount Tire fixed this issue in a matter of minutes and I had to pay someone else for this when I paid for a tire installation at this location. As others have expressed, sometimes at any Sam's Tire & Battery location, the customer service can be hit or miss. But yesterday, when I found myself stranded at the gas pump, I am beyond grateful Dawit was working that day. As I approached him in the garage, he greeted me with a big smile. Then he immediately grabbed his tools and came over to assist. He tried everything to get the battery to work, but after many failed attempts, he went ahead and installed a new battery. As a female, having car trouble or getting stranded can be an unsettling concern. But Dawit was so kind and caring, he was truly a hero for me in a time of need. I hope management, corporate, and even the Walton family see this and know they have any incredible ambassador in Dawit!

You can rarely get someone on the phone. When you do, they have an attitude and it is hard to get your questions addressed. The line in store is always long and slow. Do better Sam Walton Co! I've resulted to going to stand alone service stores for my batteries and tires.

I had a disappointing experience at Sam’s Club Tire and Battery on September 10. The store hours stated that they close at 7 PM, but when I arrived with a flat tire at 6:20 PM, the employee informed me they were about to close and couldn’t help. He was already pulling down the shutter when I asked if there was anything he could do or if he could at least guide me to another repair shop. To his credit, the employee was kind enough to wait for an additional five minutes to try and put some air in my tire. Unfortunately, that didn’t resolve the issue, and I had to find another repair shop nearby. While I appreciate the employee’s attempt to assist, I strongly suggest that Sam’s Club either adjust their working hours listed online or ensure their staff stays until the posted closing time. It

I took my car here due to a flat tire because they installed them on my car not too long ago. They told me they couldn’t fix it and that there was no puncture, but when I took it somewhere else they let me know a huge bolt had punctured my tire. When I got in my car at Sam’s, someone had filled up one of my perfectly good tires to almost double the recommended PSI….I would suggest going to another tire service center rather than this location.
