Sam's Club Tire & Battery

Customer service was very disappointing during my visit. I was poorly greeted by a young man, with little to no acknowledgment upon entering. It felt dismissive and set a negative tone right away. Basic courtesy goes a long way, and unfortunately, this location missed the mark. Because of this experience, I’ll be taking my membership to Costco, where customer service is consistently better. Very poor customer service from Sam's Club!

I had an appointment at 4:00 PM for rotation and balance. I checked in at 3:50 PM. I was told it would take between 45 minutes to an hour. I asked employees around 5:00 PM about my car and they said it was almost done. I waited another half hour. I walked to the outside of the shop at 5:30 PM to see what was going on. They promptly returned the car to me. I was not able to make it on time to a 6:00 PM personal commitment.

Came in to get a set of tires purchased from here rotated. Pulled up, no cars were being worked on at the time. After a minute one of the technicians approached. Advised him that I needed tires I bought there rotated. Was told I'd need to go inside and start the paperwork, didn't offer to take the keys or start getting info off the car. Parked and went inside to start the paperwork but nobody was waiting. Waited a few minutes, nobody. Saw a sign with a QR code that said to scan it to call assistance. Scanned it, waited few more minutes, walked out.

I would like to state that the staff are great and provide the best services they can. That said, the management (either locally or regionally) have made poor staffing decisions which directly impact the service provided. 2 people on a Saturday morning which equates to a 4 hour estimated wait for a battery change?? Either run it like a business or do the customers a favor and shut it down. As I stated the staff can do nothing to resolve the issue, this is purely a management issue relating to their staffing levels. I hope the employees can find other employment with better management and less stress.

Everything is appointment now. If you have an emergency with your tires, can’t get it fixed right away and can’t get it repaired elsewhere. The competitor matches the price and provides superior customer care. Not worth the hassle of purchasing from Sam’s Club Tires anymore.
