Sam's Club Tire & Battery

I usually love going to Sam's club, so I wanted to get tires there... I called and they said I could come in.... turns out there was 1 guy in the whole tire department who was working the register, AND putting tires on HIMSELF. I asked for help at the register and all the other employees standing around looked at me like I was crazy, so I asked for a manager and all he did was stand around looking at his phone doing NOTHING. You'd think the manager would be able to give some customer service. Then eventually the tire guy came to help (because the manager was lazy and useless) and they told me they couldnt put tires on because my rim size didnt match what their computer said.... walked over to the Goodyear tire and got amazing service over there!

Was in the Tire and Automotive section on 15 February 2025. 4 tires were ordered and paid for. 18/19 February received message tires were in and needed to make an appointment for installation. Vehicle was dropped off around 8 am on 24 February. Was contacted between 9-10 that the tires would not fit and they could not get the correct tires. My comment was “the vehicle would be picked up and you will process my refund”. Answering: yes. As of 2/28/25 refund was not credited back. Took approximately 30 to 40 minutes to dispute the purchase with the CC company. Very frustrating, as the lady I talked to apparently was not knowledgeable of the CC process.

I had to wait several days to get an appointment. Although they had collected all the information on my vehicle in advance, I was told they didn't sell the battery that my vehicle required when I arrived for my appointment. That's a big mistake and certainly a huge waste of my time.

I've been a Sam's club member for a long time and I broke my normal tradition and instead of purchasing tires from tire Kingdom I decided to take advantage of a sale at Sam's club. A mistake I will not repeat. I arrived at the store before I opened and was the second in line to purchase tires. The gentleman in front of me was not purchasing tires and installing as I wanted to do. When I purchase my tires and wanted to have them installed I was told that they were double booked meanwhile there's no one there. And the time that I argued that my tires could be done right now being that whoever has an appointment is not here they could have changed them. While going out to my car I noticed three empty bays and two guys standing around. I asked to speak to a manager who cut me off mid sentence

Good costumer service, tire installation was done arround an hour, so far no problems.
