David’s a great guy. Transparency is his forte. Quick easy service. Charges around $200 an hour for labor which seems little steep but well worth. I got my car to him at noon and was able to pick it up by 330pm very quick and easy. It’s full service auto mechanic and body shop. Super helpful and efficient I will come back if I ever need any car help.

It was fantastic working with David and Oscar. I relied on them for PPI on a used car I was considering purchasing. They were fantastic from start to finish. First, they were flexible with a changing booking time, and then during the inspection, were patient, diligent, and communicative. They took the time to walk through the issues with the car, and spoke in a non-condescending tone such that one feels educated and knowledgable. I wound up not buying the car, however, I was able to apply what I'd learned from their inspection to the same car make (from a different seller) a few days later. I will definitely be coming back!

I had a great experience at San Diego Auto Care Center. I don’t know much about cars, but they explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and only fixed what was truly necessary. I really appreciated their honesty. The prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. We definitely trust this shop and will be coming back in the future. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this place for many reasons. David, the owner, treats customers with dignity and respect as people versus as walking wallets. He is honest, transparent, and has the patience to explain things to his customers so they can understand what the situation is and are able to make educated decisions for themselves. David also will not nickel and dime you unlike most places. If your repair is done and you happen to need a fluid top off, he will simply do so. Oscar, a mechanic, is knowledgeable and enjoys what he does which shows through his work. He also treats customers with respect. He does his work efficiently AND quickly which saves on expense. Since the work is done in a reasonable amount of time, then the total cost is also reasonable. In addition, the hourly rate is lower

If you are looking for a mechanic then look no further! David is truly the best. He is so honest and will walk you through all the steps. His shop is always organized, clean, and you can just tell how much he appreciates his customers. Best of all, pricing is reasonable and you won't be overcharged.
