I have a service contract from the dealership where I bought my Subaru but sometimes I just can't manage a drive to the East Bay from SF. I found this place over a year ago and am SO impressed with how friendly, kind and upbeat they are. Buddy and Kiko are who I worked with and again 10 zillion stars for the best service ever.

This is a great shop! They are trustworthy and do great work. I’ve been there twice and both times have been a great experience for a very fair price. They do not over charge and are honest. I used to only go to the dealership for my Subaru but I will only go them for now on. Niko is great!

Buddy and Nico are great! They give you all the details on what’s going on, what was done and what could be done. Appreciate the updates on my vehicle and fair pricing. They also work well with other great shops for anything they can’t do here. Really happy I found a genuine shop with good people and partnerships.

The folks at San Francisco Auto Works are absolutely INCREDIBLE. They are honest, transparent, and do high quality work. I’ve been taking my 2016 Subaru Impreza there for a variety of repairs over the years, and won’t go anywhere else. Why am I so positive about these people? Let me give you one story as an example. A little while ago, nearly every warning light lit up on my dashboard (see photo). I took the car in and they diagnosed the issue: transmission valve body failure. They quoted me (a very fair) repair price. But before they ordered parts and scheduled the repair, they told me to call Subaru. Apparently this is a common problem on my car, and even though my car had 106k miles on it, I might qualify for an extended warranty program. Turns out, I did qualify for the warranty and S

I feel so lucky to have found SF Auto Works! They are honest and no BS. Nice people, knowledgeable, and more than fair prices, they even did a couple things on my car at no extra cost. I thought my 2011 Subaru and I were doomed but I feel much better knowing if anything goes wrong again this place has my back.
