San Jose Star Smog Check Only

Needed a smog check for my registration saw this place on Groupon so I decided to come by. There was no wait at all I was the only customer there. Mark was the one who helped me and he said that it would take 10-15 minutes, but honestly it felt less than 10 minutes. Showed him my Groupon voucher and he redeemed it, no problem. The experience was fast and easy. Price was affordable. I recommend this place!

DOES NOT HONOR GROUPON COUPONS. Showed up when place first opened up with my Groupon coupon printed out. This was a gift I received. The person asked how much was paid for it and I told him It was a gift. But he said he needed to know that info. I called the person who gave it to me and relayed the info to the person at SJ Star Smog Check who said they didn’t have that coupon amount and looked on his computer, I called the gift giver again and asked them to contact Groupon as there seemed to be a problem with their coupon. The guy at SJ Star Smog whose name is Carlos the turns to me and says “I’m not smogging you, lady,”. He took offense that I was going to have the gift giver question Groupon. I asked him If this was a scam and he took more offense at that. All the Groupon coupon said was

In and out fast ona 30 min lunch break and made it back in time paid about 70 something id recommended

New owner or employee working there now. He is very rude and refused to retest the smog, telling me to go to another place. I would not recommend this place any longer. Save your money and find another place. If you are the owner, you better treat your customer right. Otherwise, your business will go out of business real soon. Never coming back here.

Worst experience ever!!!!!!!!! Wait....ever!!!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE IF ALONSO IS THERE!!! the guy is super rude!! Let 2 potentially clients go by ignoring them. A simple question too " how much for a smog" just walked away and ignored them. I questioned his rudeness and he said he has been working for 7 days straight and is burned out. I made him say sorry to one of the clients .... been coming here for 5 years never again. He is not the owner but I know the owner is coo.
