I wanted to thank Hector and team at Santa Barbara Autowerks for helping get my wife's BMW X3 brakes replaced quickly as we were visiting SB for a short vacation and had limited time and needed fixed before the next long drive. He was knowledgeable on the vehicle, explained process and pricing (cheaper than BMW and very fair compared to other bids). When he analyzed the front and rear brakes he said the rear brakes were about 50% and the BMW warning was the sensors for the front pads. He replaced sensors and pads with factory parts and reset computer alert. An honest shop! They have my recommendation and if I ever have another car problem, hopefully not, when visiting the area again - Hector and team is my go to. Thank you!

Hector and the whole Autowerks team are amazing. Better communication than the Audi dealership, better pricing, and a lot nicer to work with…. I trust these people 💯. I had a coolant leak and got a new reservoir, water pump, and a hose. So easy to schedule and get the job completed with Hector

Did what NO had been able to fix… in mere hours!!! Jonathan is the Automotive genius I have been hunting for!!! (other guys kept my truck for weeks, never fixed the problem, but still had a bill that was more than SB M-wrx) THEN… UNBELIEVABLY… actually contacted me a week later to make sure my hot Rod truck was still running great (and she is!!). Understand they are highly in demand but incredibly worth the wait… GENUINE FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hector was amazing helping us out in a pinch. We were in the process of moving when our 435 had issues. Hector and the shop did a great job getting the car repaired!

I’ve been very happy every time I’ve taken my VW here. Excellent customer service, excellent mechanics. If you are in the area (or even if you aren’t) and have a German car- strongly consider this independent 🙌shop!
