Schmidty's Motorcycle Repair Shop

I neglected my bike. It sat for 3 years and it needed everything. Schmidty took it completely apart. He went tire to tire and restored my Yamaha 1999 classic v star 650. This guy even scrubbed it down and shined the chrome. Unbelievable! She purrs like a kitten and she floats down the road. The MC DOCTOR IS AWESOME!!!

I do not like writing bad reviews and rarely ever do but I wouldn't trust this guy with a Huffy. My bike had Sat for some years but I had got it to the point where it would run on its own for a few minutes, gave it to the so called "DR" to diagnose. Had 0 idea what is truly wrong after 5 hours of work, but pictured is the condition of my carbs once I turned my fuel line on after getting the bike home. Gas runs right through em. He also said the bike wouldn't start without starter fluid in the spark plugs. So now my bike is worse off than before. This is the expected workmanship you should expect along with your number to be blocked so he cannot own up to it. Schmidty has several Bibles around his desk, he should open to Proverbs 11.1 A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just w

Very bad! I brought him a bike that sat for 7 years, Schmidty took on the job but didn’t finish it. He said he couldn’t get it running and gave up. He was in over his head, instead of telling me , he put it back together using putty or something. I paid a lot of money and bike wasn’t fixed. He didn’t do the work that he said he did. Might be ok for bike oil changes but not mechanical.

I leave this review with a heavy heart. I gave schmidty a 2000 TLR1000 to put new fairings (body work) on, new rear sets, and fix turn signals. After adding several items i didnt feel necessary but agreed with ( brakes, fluids even though i had really new ones already, etc). I received my bike back with broken parts, parts installed incorrectly, improper use of componets installed in incorrect locations , bolts that are not even in the right place, use of wood screws to hold the headlight fairing onto the bike, using duct tape to install heat protectant that was placed against the exhaust which caught fire and burned and partially melted my brand new bodywork, and I was left stranded due to improper install of these items. My whole shift linkage fell apart because he used a standard

We took our bike to Schmidty’s Motorcycle Repair Shop to have it gone through from front to back before riding it. He did an excellent job with our bike. Kept us informed of what the bike needed and fixed everything with our approval, he always kept us updated on what was going on with the bike and made sure we were ok with what he was going to do. Very nice and friendly guy with great customer service. We will not take our bike anywhere else. If you want a great job done on your motorcycle take it to Schmidty’s. He will get the job done in a timely manner and it will be done right!!!
