Took Honda Civic 2026 in for door paint repair. Did a great job on the paint but someone scratched and chipped the door interior. Also sprayed the interior with some kind of wax and didn’t properly wipe it so it’s rough and lightly discolored. Called and they gave me the go around and said “We have no tools that would cause that.” Like what? No keys? No nails? If that’s the case Bigfoot must have been in there kicking the door to cause these chips. Unless you rocking a used car from the prehistoric era don’t bring anything new and shiny here. Mistakes happen but they’re in denial mode when I asked for help.

I recently took my Ford to Scott Collision Center, and unfortunately, it was not a great experience. The repair process took over twice as long as initially estimated, leaving me without a vehicle for much longer than expected. Despite knowing I had no rental car coverage, I had to repeatedly call for updates, as the provided tracking link was never updated. Adding to the frustration, I was told that all parts had arrived, only to be informed multiple times that the wrong or unacceptable parts were received. When I finally picked up my vehicle, I had a bill from the service center for an unrelated issue. Highly recommend Scott Collision Ctr. I had a pretty complicated saga of an insurance and service issue because of back-ordered part.. from a Honda service dept in South Carolina. But, thanks to Tim and his team, it was a relatively minor repair/replacement of my new Cr-V spoiler. To me, it seemed like they effortlessly moved mountains(!) Scott Collision center was organized, friendly, professional, helpful and clear, and pleasant to work with. I also appreciated the quiet waiting area without tons of TVs and music..where I could work and drink some coffee.

I got an estimate from Honda Collision and the adjustor told me the repairs would take 2 or 3 days after they ordered the parts. On Fri. 9/6 i made an appt over the phone with Honda Collision for Wed. 9/11 to make the repairs. When i got there, they didn’t have an appt recorded for me, they hadn’t ordered the parts, and it would take a week for the parts to arrive and repairs to be made. So i made a new appt and drove my car back home. Driving the car in for the appt which wasn’t recorded, dealing with Honda Collision, and driving the car back home took an hour of my time. They had plenty of excuses—the person who handles the appts was out sick—but not a word of apology.
