Scotty's Car Wash

I’m so disappointed! They advertise “touchless wash”, claiming to be really good! So I went today, paid $24 for this touchless wash and the bottom part of the car & door was not even wet at all! I had to try and wipe what I could and then go home and redo the whole bottom parts of my car. Do not waste your money on the touchless for sure!!

This was my 1st time visiting Scotty’s Car Wash. My car was pretty dirty after the recent rainy weather. I always look for touch less washing, which they offered. The instructions were pretty simple and the price seemed reasonable. When I got home, 6 minutes later, I inspected my car and you really couldn’t tell that it was just washed. So, I went back to see if my expectations were too high. I met with Elias. He was apologetic and troubleshooted my issue. He determined that with all the oil and dirt collecting on my car from the rain, it would be a good idea to choose a different wash style at no costs. This was my second time using Scotty’s car wash. After experiencing issues the first time, I assumed it might have been user error and decided to give the touchless wash another try today. Unfortunately, I had the same problems—poor drying, bug splatter and bird droppings still on the car, visible water spots, and leftover dirt. For $24, the wash should leave the car nearly spotless. I’m hoping to see improvements, as I don’t want to write off Scotty’s completely since I like the concept, but the current results are unacceptable. Vacuums are great though!

I really wanted to love this place and give it a great review to support with it being one of the only touchless car washes in the LV area but i simply can't because I've tried it now twice and both times left disappointed in how the wash turned out. Both times the wash missed multiple things mainly on the back of the car and without providing microfiber clothes like other car washes do at the end, I couldn't do anything about it despite it being easy to come off with a light scratch at it. For $24 per wash for the touchless option, I don't think it's worth it since it leaves your car only about 70% clean.

I tried Scotty's Car Wash for the first time last weekend and had a great experience. Extremely helpful staff, a solid wash for a drive through process and a powerful vacuum setup. I normally wash my SUV by hand as it is relatively new and I have had mixed experiences with automatic car washes, including damages (curb rash) to a wheel. I'm going to be a frequent customer based on my outstanding experience.
