SD Smog & Auto Repair

I had been to SD Smog & Auto Repair before and once again Ray provided me great customer service and found the problem with my car I brought in timely manner. He also had the car ready the same day. Ray also explained everything before working on the car and provided an easy to read invoice of the work preformed. Overall a wonderful experience and I will be going back whenever I have car needs.

Not very honest failed to tell me that I’m missing the rear reflectors, should have tell me so I don’t have to waste my time and money until I get the rear reflectors. Test and fail for rear reflectors, cost me another hundred dollars to do the retest just for the rear reflectors 15min work. 😡

Ray is extremely unprofessional!!!!! I really don't mind paying any mechanics price for repairs as long as they do it right the first time!!! Ray does not do it right the first time! He doesn't know how to take accountability to fix his wrongs! He takes on jobs knowing he doesn't have the proper equipment to do the job right the first time! Do not go to this place they will rob you for your money while putting on a smile on their faces. He worked on both of my cars and left me with more problems in the end including time lossed, money lossed, a lot headaches . He lacks honesty in his character! Absolutely the worst mechanic in San Diego County. I would give -1 star if that was an option.

STOP READ!!STOP READ!!STOP READ!! I had my car towed to there shop off college cause it was the closest to me and seen good reviews. after I dropped it off I started. read the b.s. reviews. I knew i was supposed to have my ignition lock replaced. Ray said that he had inspect my truck to make sure it was the ignition lock that needed to be changed. it costs a 100 dollars day, he didn't call me all day so i called him. He charged me $234 dollars,That's why they an atm by the front counter.He said there card reader is down. They didn't change my ignition lock . The following Monday my truck didn't start i took the plastic cover off and it had the same dirty ignition lock.I not sure what I want to do yet. don't make a mistake like me!!!
