Secretary of state DMV Addison

Addison DMV is one of the best DMV, I visited so far. I visited the facility without appointment to get a Real ID. Information person Christeena, directed me to the Supervisor Jimmy. He was really wonderful and helped me to get the service done as there was a cancellation of another appointment. The employee who take care of me at the counter also superb.. Overall 100% positive feedback to this facility. Great job all !!

Fantastic Experience. Yes, I said that. 22 January 2026. I arrived early for an 8:20 appointment. In order: 1. Lot and sidewalks were completely cleared of snow and ice. 2. Nice person who turned out to be a Cashier held the door and greeted me. 3. Check-In person was pleasant, helpful AND funny. 4. Photo people were helpful and efficient. 5. Marques called me over even before I sat in the waiting area and was cordial, professional and efficient. 6. Cashier was pleasant and helpful. 7. When I expressed that the crew was wonderful, a person behind the counter joked that he meant to train them to be grumpier like on the TV Show but I suspect he was the leader supporting a great culture. I may swing by again tomorrow just to get the day started well. Thank you!

I want to sincerely thank Gwynn for being such an amazing examiner. She is an incredibly strong and confident professional - fair, focused, and very attentive. Her presence made the exam feel serious and meaningful, and at the same time it felt honest and respectful. Even though I was very nervous, her professionalism and experience helped me stay calm and focused, and I successfully passed my road test today❤️ I truly appreciate the way she does her job. Examiners like her set a high standard and make a real difference. I am genuinely grateful that my road test was with her. God bless her for her dedication, integrity, and professionalism 🥰

Worst DMV ever and I’ve never been harassed so terribly by workers. Waiting for 3+ hours to have the manager tell me we have appointments and not to worry. Then Maria a worker, comes out and starts kicking people out and offering no help. The manager that told us all we have appointments then pretended as if the conversation never happened and kicked MULTIPLE people including elderly people out of line. The manager and Maria should be ashamed of how they treated us after waiting multiple hours and then offering no remedy to the situation. Everyone was appalled and agreed other locations don’t act like this.

Had to take a test and eye exam. I scheduled an appt at this facility having prepared myself for the "harsh DMV attitude"! I was immediately and pleasantly surprised, the employees were awesome and extremely professional. I cannot begin to tell you the amazing experience I had at this facility....I was in and out in 30mins. Thank you to all the employees for an awesome and painless experience! HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🥳
