Select Auto Repair & Smog

I had an amazing experience at Select auto. The staff was incredibly professional and friendly, and they got my car in and out quickly. The pricing was transparent, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend them for anyone in need of smog checks or automotive repairs!

DO NOT GO HERE FOR REPAIRS. How does power steering fluid get into the air intake and soak 1/4 of the air filter? I used a state voucher for repairs but they did NOT fix the problem. They got the check engine light to turn off, "said" they replaced a sensor and valve but my car kept dying at idle. I had to take it to another mechanic who replaced mass air flow sensor and another part and NOW my car runs fine. SCAMMERS!!! FILTER FOR NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND DON'T READ THE FAKE GOOD REVIEWS. STAY AWAY.

I use Select Auto to work on several vehicles for my job. Select has worked on Ford and Chevy trucks, Isuzu box truck, Prius, and several vans for us. I have used several mechanics in Exeter, Farmersville, and Visalia in the past, none of them have the honesty and turn around that Select Auto has. I also have Select Auto work on my personal vehicles. It is priceless to me to have a business be swamped with vehicles but fixes every single one and gets your car back to you the same day. I had a very negative experience with this auto shop. They refused to provide service and couldn’t offer a clear or logical explanation for their decision, which was incredibly frustrating. The staff spoke to me in a dismissive, almost condescending manner, as if I was inconveniencing them simply by showing up and asking for help. Their lack of transparency and unwillingness to communicate made the whole situation feel unprofessional and disrespectful. I’ve been to many auto shops before, and I’ve never experienced this level of disregard for a customer. They made no effort to assist me, suggest alternatives, or even show basic courtesy.
