Horrible place to get a car from. My dad Calvin Hayes, has gotten 2 cars from this place so he thought it would be ok to get another one from them. My dad paid $1000 down on a jeep compass, the next day the check engine light came on and it's started running rough. My dad called them and told them about this they said they would take care of it. After 2 days my dad went and parked the car in front of the dealership. They called him a few days later and said come pick it up that it's fixed. I went and got the jeep and not even three days later the car started shaking and cutting off. Every thime he pull up to the red light it cut off. He got to auto zone on dedeaux rd and couldn't go any farther. He left it at AutoZone and advised them that he had broke down, he left it because the dealersh

Horrible customer service. I definitely did not pay my Note because I couldn’t even get a tag for the car because it was reported stolen and had A lean on the title. They could have relayed that information before I paid my money and drove off car lot.

Terrible place. Terrible customer service. He got sooo mad I had money to come get my car every time he illegally repossessed it after me not missing a payment he just stole it and mased me when I went to get it. Im praying for you James. Do not get a car from this place it's horrible people there. Especially James. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE TO GET A CAR FROM! The owner is a liar! I got a 2016 Hyundai Sonata from them. Not even 2 weeks of having it, it went out. Motor and engine stopped working! I called them to fix it, he refused to fix it and told me if he did fix it I would be responsible for the charges! Then he said he wasn’t going to put me in anything while it was getting fixed. Then he said I still needed to pay my car note. So I didn’t pay it, the very next day after paying it, they turned my car off. I don’t recommend going to get a car from them, they sell lemons. He will be hearing from my lawyer very soon!

So I've noticed a lot of negative reviews about the customer experience at Select One. While my experience with them definitely wasn't 5 star, it certainly was not a 1 star experience either. My reasoning for 3 stars in simple: 1. The owner is definitely not the most personable when it comes to the experience, HOWEVER, in my experience the only time we really had to speak was at payment time. Being completely honest, I wasn't the most diligent with on time payments. That's not the fault of the dealership, and in a lot of instances James was willing to work with me on the payment date. You have to OVER communicate folks. 2. The singular issue with communication on the dealership's end is the issue of insurance. In this particular case, they no longer accepted the insurance that I had, and i
