Selman Chevrolet Service

The service department was great. They even washed my car as requested! My challenge is with the cashier when checking out. Her attitude that day was awful!!

They charged me $195 for a car wash (and a vehicle inspection and diagnosis that was useless) which led to a repair estimate to replace a part for $900. I declined the repair and took the vehicle to a different repair shop. This other shop charged only $150 for a BETTER vehicle inspection with photos and measurements and a BETTER diagnosis AND FIXED THE ISSUE FOR FREE without replacing a part... without an unnecessary repair. This is the second bad experience I've had with this service center at Selman

They had an oil change and lube special I had my volt taken care if by them. Must of been training special because the oil drain was over 50 nm (the specs of 14 nm are stamped on the pan!) and I had to do the screwdriver punch to get the filter off and replace the drain plug after using a boot grip Staff was courteous but the "mechanics" used impact tools on everything. Edit to 1 star as noone should of tightened and took 4 hours to remove it without damage.

They go around to avoid honoring warranty contracts.2 days for a diagnosis and still waiting seems they want to avoid the loaner. They wanted to charge me 150 for the diagnosis when is a power train problem and still under warranty

Oil change and then new tires, great prices on tires.
