Service Center- Toyota of Bozeman

Had an appointment to have the windows tinted on my brand new Tundra I purchased here. After a few hours, I looked in the Toyota app and it showed my truck was parked 20 minutes away on the other side of town at a different business. This was never discussed, and I didn’t give them permission to drive across town to have someone else do the work. I’m driving the truck very carefully to break in the engine on my $65K investment correctly. I’m sure the guy who drove it was careful and easy on the accelerator…yeah right. If I knew they farmed the work out to someone else, I would have gone directly there. This whole experience was shady, and I feel like I can’t trust Ressler. Overall good experience. While scheduling the appointment, I did mention that I had the oil and oil filter in the back of my car. However, after getting some work done as well as the oil filter and oil change, I found out that they didn't use my oil or oil filter, and that I wad was charged for it. It was not entirely their fault. I don't know how much was written down over the phone. I probably should have mentioned the supplies in the back of my car when I dropped it off. Other than that, it was clear communication and a smooth process. Reasonable prices, especially for a dealership.

Alyssa and Sam were amazing and helped me get into the perfect vehicle that met all my needs! I highly recommend them. Exceptional Customer Service from both of them! I will be definitely going back to Toyota of Bozeman for all my future vehicle needs.

Use to be good, but then they started over charging for oil changes. Said my lights were out and they needed to be changed, but I popped the hood at my house and they just unplugged them. They said I had multiple issues with the 4Runner (worn brake linings, couldn’t give me specifics, and steering fluid leak), but I went to another shop just to be safe and they said brakes were barely worn and no leaks found. If you need oil changes/tire changes, best to support a local shop. Plenty of them in the bozeman/Livingston areas

I had a difficult engine problem, one that probably should be left to real Toyota mechanics. It's one of those tricky repairs that takes a real Toyota guy about 5 hours, but would take a non-Toyota guy about double that. I took my 4runner here, and they did a great job at a fair price. Michelle in the service department was particularly helpful and pleasant to deal with. I will definitely bring my vehicles here again.
