Was a great surprise seeing all of the racing memorabilia and the stories that were told to us!
Sham has an amazing museum of racing history that he has built over decades of time. He took us over to where Brady Bacon was working on his sprint car, so we got to meet him too.
They claim this is a work in progress and like most museums, a labor of love by an older racer who keeps a foot in his past, while knowing some of the stars of today! What a treat to meet someone who raced during the days of my youth, and had artifacts, photos and items from their personal collections! While this is in an old building, it has a history itself, as the place the first auto in the USA was built, and next door to USAC star Brady Bacon.
Really cool place I learned a few things about Union city I didn't know. They have a lot of cool racing stuff.
Did not go to shams. My children's bus stop is by sham's. I can't tell you anything about it but it is a truck and auto shop.
