Truck went down smoking Labor Day weekend thinking I had blown heads, maybe turbo went out. Called shop right before closing and the tow truck wouldn’t get there for at least another 4 hours, he said don’t worry about it, when it’s an hour out call me I’ll have one of the guys put it in the yard. Ended up being a simple fix sticking thermostat , while it was in there he noticed steering components loose and he tightened them up without me asking. Matt went above and beyond for a great price.

I’m from Seal Beach CA up Steelhead fishing. My turbo was having issues and was not sure if I could keep driving it without damaging it. I had clean the intake hose and reattached but was not sure if all was OK. I needed some advice. Took it to Chevy and GMC they said they could not help me for three weeks and would not even let me talk to anyone about the problem. Called Shasta Diesel and Matt the owner said come on in he would run a diagnostic check. Ran check said the problem was fixed and gave me the assurance that all would be OK. Matt saved my trip.
