Spoke with Ben, the owner, after emailing the company. He responded very quickly to my email, and was able to work me in in two days. Extremely friendly staff over the phone and in person. Owner even called me to let me know my car was ready, which most mechanic shops I’ve encountered don’t do. I always have to call them it seems, but this wasn’t the case at Shepherd’s. Took the time to explain in detail what they did to my car and took care of a small issue that we could not foresee. Reasonably priced and great work. I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends, and we will definitely be back when we need service in the future!

Stay AWAY from this place. Paid for repairs that didn't even last a mile from driving away. Took vehicle back, after they implied I was lying. They said they would fix it. Left it there a month, not a single call back from them for an update, I kept calling to get an expected date for vehicle to be ready all I got was runaround. They only had excuses, like the part is not in, this takes time, it will be ready, we had a wedding, wrong part came in, defective part. No Money was returned. Nothing was fixed. Stay Away! This has been the worst place I have ever been to. Do not rely on them.

Worst mechanic ever!!! Had my son's truck for over a month. Was unable to fix anything . Screwed up a new carburetor and ordered another new one. Still unable to fix truck properly. Charged over 1000.00 and still had my son drive away knowing it was idling high and states a motor mount was compromised . Why didn't he even suggest to fix that??? Knew things were compromised but didn't care to make sure everything good before he released vehicle. Bad communicator. Didn't call when he said he would. No customer service, no concern except for money. Hope nobody goes there because will probably be in compromised vehicle. Definitely going somewhere else to have vehicle rechecked.

You get good honest service. No trying to get more from you NY doing work that doesn't need yo be done. Pep boys and the mechanic they recommended were going to tear my car apart piece by piece till they found what was wrong. Charging me exorbitant prices all along the way. Shephard found the problem and fixed their work at a reasonable price since the other mechanic tried to ruin my car by leaving the a/c lines open to the air. Shepard replaced the lines and made sure they did not have dust or dirt in the lines which could cause other problems. They were the greatest and are my go to for all mechanical concerns.

I recently moved to the area and was looking for an auto repair close by because my starter was going bad. So I drove up, told them the issue and they took me right away! I even got a ride back home. I got a call within the hour and since they already knew the problem, Paul said they would only charge half to do the other diagnostics. He suggested a rebuilt starter because they were cheaper. I also told him to check the front brakes because I thought that I might need them. He said the brakes were still good! Some garages could've went ahead and done the brakes since I brought it up but they were honest and that was refreshing! They did the job fast and came to pick me up to get back to the garage.
