I moved to Stamford in June and shortly thereafter started having temperature issues with my Durango. I had been going to the same mechanic for 20+years and was now in need of a new one. Honest mechanics are hard to come by but I read a bunch of reviews and the words honest and trustworthy were used a lot so I gave Tony a call and I was/am glad I did. As advertised he was honest, didn't try to take advantage of me or upsell me anything. He fixed my vehicle for a fair price and had it ready in a more than reasonable time. Tony is now my first call for anything I may need regarding my vehicle. Honesty, integrity, good workmanship. Qualities that are rare nowadays. All here at Shoppan Auto Repair. I couldn't possibly give Tony and his shop a higher recommendation.

Absolutely the best and most honest place for your automotive needs. I’ve lived in the greater Stamford area for 4 decades. I’ve heard people go to many places for their car repairs, but this place is second to none. Wouldn’t trust anyone else. I’ve talked to a number of people that have domestic and foreign cars that have taken their cars here and they all have espressed their complete trust and satisfaction with taking their cars here for all types of service.

Can't say enough good things about this place. It's always hard to find a mechanic you can trust, but Tony is the guy! His professionalism, expertise, and dedication to getting the job done right are unmatched. Tony took the time to thoroughly explain what was wrong with my car, ensuring I felt confident and informed every step of the way. Not only did he fix the issue quickly, but he also went above and beyond to check for any other potential problems, saving me time and money in the long run. Tony is a great mechanic and great guy. Prices were honest, and he went above and beyond for the work. While I hope my car doesn't give me a reason to need a mechanic, if it does, I know where I'm going.
