Positive experience, quick and helpful service. Took my 2004 BMW x5 there because they specialize in BMW and Mercedes-Benz. My engine had started running rough without apparent reason. I took it there near closing time, they called me the next morning, told me what was wrong, and gave me an estimate. They said that I needed a fuel injector and 2 coils replaced. They said $850 around $550 for parts and the rest for labor (I do not remember the exact numbers). Which seems to make sense because BMW parts are very costly. They had it fixed by the end of the day, and the cost was exactly as they had described before. After I left my engine was still rough, so I was a little frustrated. So I was driving with my friend the other day in South Philly and her (older) Volvo broke down. We called her dad and he recommended that we go to Sigismondi Car Specialists, so we got the car towed over there immediately. I ended up staying with her because she was able to talk to the owner right away and he said he would able to have the car up and running in about 2 hours. I thought it sounded a bit too good to be true, but sure enough the car was ready to go in under 2 hours and we were able to drive on our way, without wasting the whole day! The owner was really friendly and accommodating and the prices were surprisingly reasonable (I feel like they could have taken advantage of two, young women who don't really know much about cars). We have all heard the stories of car owners who take their vehicles to mechanics, only to have the same problem reoccur. It can make us apprehensive, but I never worry about that at Sigismondi Foreign Car Specialists. I have a 99’ Lexus SC 400, and have been dealing with Joe for several years. My first experience was the best as Joe and his employees showed true professionalism and concern. They provided other mechanics’ rates in the area and same day break servicing. Joe is slightly more expensive, but you get the high quality you pay for.

Back in March my converter got taken in philly. The tow guy recommended knowing this place (Joe) having converter’s. So through insurance he got over 9,000 for supposedly saying all this stuff needed replaced.well not once but 5x’s my car was going back to him because the engine light kept coming on. Auto Zone and advanced auto did diagnosis it was reading bad converter and front sensor. I also got a diagnosis from the dealership paying for it out my own pocket 130.00 saying exactly the same thing a Bad Converter and a Bad Sensor!This man Joe was so NASTY and disrespectful to me like it was my fault. I have a 99 Volkswagon Jetta and I have been through the works with this car. In this last occurrence, my catalytic converter was basically shot and I needed to have it replaced. First the staff made sure to explain me what a catalytic converter was and the reason it malfunctioned. Secondly, they staff provided me with an estimate and went the extra mile to let me about competitive replacement rates in the area. Even though they weren't the cheapest I decided to work with Sigismondi, and it turned out to be the best decision. My car is still running smoothly and Joe and his team really gave me some great aftercare tips. I'll definitely return if I have another issue.
