I recently bought a car from Bill Shick at Silverthorne Chevrolet GMC in Robinson, IL, a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV RS, and I’d say - the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Bill was extremely communicative and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. He’s genuine, easy to talk to, and never once made me feel pressured. Since I didn’t know much about electric vehicles going in, he took the time to thoroughly explain everything and made sure I understood how it all worked. Where do I even start... My first experience with them was bringing in a vehicle for a loud noise. I was told the exhaust manifold was cracked and quoted $1,750. I got a second opinion in town and found out it was just a broken bolt. It was fixed for $250 and never had another issue. Getting a second opinion saved me $1,500. I brought another vehicle in for a roof leak after a heavy rain. I was first told the rear spoiler was leaking, it was sealed and “water tested,” and I was assured it was fixed. The next heavy rain, it leaked again. Then I was told it was the seal. That was replaced and again I was told it was fully tested and fixed. Within 30 minutes of picking it up, I noticed damage to the center radio console that was not there when I dropped it off. I brought it back immediately,
