SIXT Rent a Car Albuquerque Int Airport

Excellent service! Easy to get to from airport with one bus shuttle and check in was super fast upon return. Brand new vehicles for rent in their lot. Super clean!

Cars always great!! I recommend the X5 or better. I left a brand new watch in the glove box of the rental. Two days later I realize “Wow, I forgot my watch in the rental!!” So I immediately take off to the SIXT location where I dropped the vehicle off at. I walk in there and inform the manager & supervisor about the watch I left behind. They immediately check the lost and found area…..nothing. I ask them if the vehicle is still in the parking lot and immediately they reply “No most of our cars have been cleaned out and rented out” Remind you, they didn’t even bother checking in their system to see if the vehicle was still in their possession . So I took it upon myself to walk out to the SIXT parking lot and check if it is still there and what do you know? ITS THERE!! So I go back in and te

My experience with Sixt was 11/10. All rentals at ABQ were incredibly busy and limited on cars and Sixt ranked far superior than the others with getting their customers into cars that matched or exceeded their reservation. They are generous with upgrades if they don’t have your car/reservation in stock and Lexi was an absolute delight helping not just me find a comfortable vehicle for 15 days but many customers before and after me. Thanks Lexi, you deserve a promotion!!

First car I was given was a Nissan Sentra. It had a bunch of dings and dents on it. The door wasn't even sealing/shutting well. This car should have been RETIRED. It was really in bad shape for a rental! I was told to go back to the counter to get another car. The second car was a Jeep Compass and in much better condition. The back and forth made me waste over an hour standing in line TWICE to get a car. Upon returning the car, I was in a rush to get to the gate for boarding. Only after I got on the plane did I realized I left a bag of stuff in the backseat of the rental car. Upon arriving home, I immediately filled out the "lost item" form online. This is a shoutout to the representative working late on December 27 - our flight was super delayed and we were lucky that we'd booked with Sixt, which was the only rental counter still open. He was super chill and friendly and totally not pushy and got us set up quickly with a car that we loved and drove around for the next two weeks. Best rental car counter experience ever!
