SIXT Rent a Car Fort Lauderdale Beach Westin

I had a very disappointing experience renting from Sixt, starting at the Westin Beach location in Fort Lauderdale and ending at the Sonesta ES location in Orlando. I reserved a BMW X1 and specifically chose Sixt for that vehicle. Despite checking in online in advance, I was told upon arrival that no vehicles in that class were available. I was first offered a Toyota RAV4 with a suggested discount, which did not meet my needs. After I indicated I would need to go elsewhere, I was then offered a BMW 5 Series, but only after the employee said he needed approval. I was told I could have the vehicle if I agreed to complete a positive survey. Wanting to continue my trip, I accepted. I’d like to share a great experience I had with Sixt. The service was efficient, professional, and very friendly throughout the entire process, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. I especially want to mention Evon, who provided outstanding customer service — patient, attentive, and genuinely kind. His positive attitude and excellent communication made the whole experience much more enjoyable. You can tell he truly cares about the customers and goes the extra mile. Thanks to him, my experience was exceptional. I will definitely use Sixt again and highly recommend them to others.

My experience was truly amazing. The young lady Abby she went above and beyond to help me retrieve the Rental. I came across a few bumps along the way, but she kept in guidelines and did everything she could to make sure I got that rental. she also kept a smile on her face and was very friendly the entire time she actually made my day wish everyone was more like her.

WARNING, SCAM! On December 8, 2025 I rented a car in Atlanta going to Fort Lauderdale. I signed the papers at the front with Jazaria S and then the car was brought to me by someone else (Nisan Sentra) and it was damaged. I notices that right away and then there was a receipt with a QR code where I was able to claim that damage by scanning the QR code and submitting the form with marked damage. They don’t provide you with the copy of your inspection, so please make sure if there is any damage you have it saved for your record. Take a picture and send it to their costumer support for your evidence. Will tell you why… A few days later I received an email with claim for the amount of 1566.91$ (even though looking at that damage it would be 200-300$ max to fix it). I contacted them asking to re
