SIXT Rent a Car Huntington Beach

Credit where credit is due! This is now my third month of switching from another rental company’s President Circle level to now only renting from SIXT for my business rentals and happy to report my first time at the Huntington branch was another great experience. Luis went above and beyond to make sure everything in my contract for a subscription was correct and although they were freshly out of the car I reserved (because online reservation system error, no fault of theirs), he gave me another great option that I’m very happy with and did it all with professionalism and genuine warmth. I’m in high end events industry and will continue to rent from Sixt for the foreseeable future. Great deals on fully loaded cars and customer service to match! Thanks all.

Luis was a Christmas miracle! I had booked online (non prepaid) but had flight delays so I was about 2 hours late from my original time booking. I was stressed as my booking had been canceled. Luis was there to assist me and help get me the same car I had originally booked. Can’t thank him enough for his kindness and help especially during the busy holidays. This is my first time at this branch and HIGHLY recommend it after my experience.

Terrible company DO NOT USE. They were happy to take our payment online but then don't accept the EXACT same card used online, our PHYSICAL debit card for the deposit. Zero customer service, wouldn't even try to run our other debit card. Why would their payment system process it online but not in person. Not only that it's gonna take 3-15 days to get a refund.

Worse sixt branch I’ve ever been too avoid at all cost after waiting 15 mins for the staff to finish smoking I was then told I cannot collect the car I pre booked because a credit card but I’ve had 4 previous rentals in the last month with my debt card he refused to give me a car because I didn’t have a credit card. After frustratingly waiting to call customer service they then instructed me to hand the phone to the employee and told him that they had my credit card on file to proceed and give me the car I prebooked but no I was refused by the extremely rude staff that seem to be too busy smoking to deal with customers. This is the first negative review I’ve ever written, but I feel obligated to warn others to avoid this establishment at all costs. They acted in bad faith and attempted to charge me for damages that clearly occurred before my rental. Fortunately, I have both video and photo evidence to prove it. If for some crazy reason you decide to still rent from here, be extremely cautious.
