SIXT Rent A Car New York City Brooklyn

Great experience renting with Sixt! I rented twice in two weeks and each time pick up was fast and very friendly with Al - he even gave me directions and tips about tolls for my trip upstate. Both cars (BMW) were clean and performed flawlessly. On my second rental, the check engine light came on before my departure. I stopped into the garage and Al was super quick to help and fix the minor issue. I went on to drive to Lake Placid and had a great time! The quality of the cars Sixt has on hand can never be beat. I’ll continue to be a loyal customer!

Excellent service. New clean cars with low mileage. 0 complaints. Professional service and kind customer service. One suggestion is to enhance the 24-hour drop-off service at select locations. Highly recommend!

Please run far, far away from Sixt! I booked a car via Expedia. I had to pay immediately, which was a week before the actual booking. Upon my arrival, they refused to rent me a car because my license had a crack. TSA and other rental car companies have had no problem using my license. They apologize and don't rent me the vehicle. They promise they will issue a refund immediately. I get no email, no verification of cancellation, etc. I reach out to Expedia after a couple of business days, and they say everything is issued through Sixt. I went there, and they said they cancelled. They acted "shocked"; I didn't get a cancellation or refund. All the while, they are whispering to each other that they don't know what to do! I reached out to Expedia again, and they said they can't do anything. No

The car rental went easily. They were nice, but not too communicative - they just tossed the keys and closed the window (like bro, where is the car? What else should I do? Shouldn't I sign something? Would you show me the car? Anything to know? - okay, I am from Europe, the experience is a bit different there, maybe this caused my confusion). Anyway, everything was okay, the car was in good shape, clean, went well. We had no issues with it during the 2600 mile road trip. However, there were two minor issues with the renting process: 1. The fuel tank was not entirely full (about 1/8 below Full) - as I am not accustomed to car renting I noticed it only after I left with the car. But hey, who cares about losing ~$5 when the total price was about $800? 2. The window washer fluid level was low,
