I had a fantastic experience with Sixt at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. The staff were really friendly and eager to help. Even though they didn’t have the car I originally reserved, they offered me a free upgrade, which was a wonderful surprise. The location is super convenient—right near the cable car—and made getting around the city so easy and enjoyable. I ended up with a Mercedes-Benz, and it was an absolute pleasure to drive around San Francisco. Highly recommend!

Great experience with SIXT. The price was very good and, although there was a short wait at the counter because it was busy (both counters were running), the process was still organized. The agent Kian was very friendly and helpful – the car I booked wasn’t available due to body damage, so he upgraded me for free to a BMW. The car was almost new (about 600 miles), ran smoothly, and I really enjoyed the sound system and overall BMW quality (the only minor downside was that it didn’t have adaptive cruise control or lane keeping). The return was also smooth. They weren’t able to change my payment card because of a system bug, but after trying for about half an hour they offered me a $35 discount instead, which I really appreciated. Jay and the other gentleman (Sorry I didn’t get your name) were incredibly helpful for my impromptu trip with renting a car not only were they extremely positive but they explained everything in full detail details so I left feeling confident. There is a really sweet guy in the back end that helped me figure out how to open up the convertible mini Cooper. It was so nice driving with the top down around the city. This is the best experience I’ve had with a rental car. All the employees in theirs are down to earth, which makes the process super easy. I also have rented a car at the Sixt rental car agency near the mission and had a really positive experience as well.

The best rental experience I had so far! 😚 I always use another car rental service but my credit card company had them listed with a better cash back option so I checked their website and was surprised at their pricing and the cars they have in their fleet so I went ahead and booked online. It was easy, no BS. I came a couple of days later at this location to pick up the car and Danielle was there to help. she was quick, knowledgeable and professional. The car I reserved was not available so she offered me an upgrade and an option. It was straightforward, no fuss, no long paperwork where you have to sign or initial every digital page. I got the keys, went to the parking lot and drove off. I definitely would rent with Sixt again!

Overall, my experience with Sixt in San Francisco was good. The attendant was helpful and attentive, making the check-in process smooth and easy. At first, I was told that the Mercedes GLA I reserved wasn’t available and that I would be given a Volvo instead. That was a bit disappointing at the moment, since I had specifically booked the GLA. However, in the end, they were able to provide the exact car I had reserved, which I really appreciated. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and ready to go. The staff handled the situation politely and made sure I left satisfied. I’d say Sixt offers solid service, and while there was a bit of uncertainty at first, they made it right. I would rent from them again.
