I've lived at Skyline for about a year and a half. The experience has been excellent in many respects. I'm a widower and I live alone in a one-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and a big living-dining room area. I have an office in my bedroom. On a sunny day I can see the top of Mt. Rainier in addition to the stadiums, part of the harbor and a general territorial view. The location is excellent for me. I can walk to most of my doctors, there is valet parking for visitors, bus service is good to north and south as well as to downtown, and with a day's notice Skyline staff will drive me to appointments, stores, museums, etc. in big, comfortable sedans. My wife and I spent several years reviewing retirement options around Seattle and deciding on a transition timeline. We are both healthy and wanted to experience the lifestyle of living in an urban environment without the hassles of homeownership, maintenance, cooking, etc. We have found Skyline to be all that they advertise. It is a beautiful facility with multiple locations for games, swimming, fitness, and outdoor relaxation.
