Small Town Auto

Small Town Auto is a fantastic small business. I have been taking my vehicles there for two years now and nothing but raving reviews. Rob is honest, straight forward, easy to talk to and him and his team do great work. Pricing is reasonable and he will never try to sell you something you do not need. HIGHLY recommend.

There is no other auto repair shop that I trust more than Small Town Auto. Whether it be with regular maintenance tasks or repairs my car may need, Rob always ensures my car is safe and ready for the road. I have been coming to Small Town Auto since 2019, and I have not had one bad experience with this place. I always know Rob will have my best interests in mind when it comes to my vehicle.

Although he didn’t work on my vehicle, the owner was very upfront, honest, and referred me to a shop that would better suit my needs. My vehicle requires extensive repairs, of which small town auto did not feel comfortable completing due to liability, which I completely understand.

I've used this shop for the past few years without an issue. This last time I took a used car that I just bought for them to look at. They gave a list of things that would need to be fixed before it could be inspected. We told him we would do the work ourselves to save money as my husband does a lot of mechanical work. His face changed and he acted very annoyed that he wasn't getting that business. We fixed the car and brought it back to him for inspection. Almost immediately after, the car started making noise and after looking at the what was going on, we discovered 2 bolts, one on each side, were taken out of the breaks. There's no doubt this happened at small town auto. I know this is a practice done by shady auto mechanics so you have to bring the car back for more work. This felt

I'm a trained mechanic and have done hundreds of brake jobs but I can't do my own inspections. I bought a new car and brought it in and he said I needed new brakes, rotors, and calipers. I told him I want to do that work and bring it back and by PA law, you can. He was clearly not happy with that response. I did the work, brought it back and he put the stickers on. I picked up the car and shortly after noticed a lot of noise coming from the rear. It winds up he took one bolt out of the caliper hanger on each side because he was disgruntled. Risking the lives of the car's occupants. I hope your happy with yourself Rob. Karma will get you.
