Smog Masters

We took my husbands truck to be smogged and after it passed as we were driving home, my husband's check engine light came on. We took the truck back thinking maybe something may be loose and they would at least look and see if they had caused any minor issues. My husband explained the problem to the technician that has performed the smog and he acted like it was our problem and did not even offer to look and see if something was loose. In fact he said"You should feel lucky it did not come on before the test or I could not have tested it". Really? The check engine light has not been on at all until AFTER HE tested it! Now at minimum we have to pay to have it hooked up to a computer to see what is wrong. The code that came up is for exhaust gas recirculation sensor....NEVER AGAIN!

Took them an hour to smog my car. Wanted to charge $80 to diagnose problem. Took it to an other shop fixed problem and passed smog $67.
