Smoky Mountain Speedway

We went for the big rig races. For me and my husband it's one of those adventures that you see once and once is all you need. Nothing like we thought. There were way to many people for 4 porta potties and 2 concession stands. The lines were very long for both. I never saw a sign for the concession locations or what they were selling. No signs or direction for anything. Parking for tier parking was not great unless you got there really early.

Absolute blast. If you are thinking about going, then go. Went to this track for the first time for the Southern Thunder series. Tier parking is first come, first serve. I got there 30 minutes after they opened it up and it took maybe another 2 hours to fill up. Definitely get there early for prime tailgating spots. They allow grills and coolers in tier parking. They have nice bathrooms, concessions, and food trucks near the stands. Everyone was friendly and tier parking is right alongside the track, so bring some glasses for the dust and hearing protection if you have sensitive ears.

Raced over weekend and can’t thank the people who worked the track enough the surface was great all day Saturday. Great time, great people, all around just a good place to go to to race AfterWorx Racing # 718 Hooligan Harley Davidson

First time visiting SMS and it was awesome. Loved the Big Rig Racing. Tear parking and tailgating was a blast.

We love smokey mountain speedway , we come every year for the moonshine classic, we always bring our tent and camp for the weekend . There's no better way to spend a weekend than to camp out at the track enjoy the most beautiful scenery and play some Cornhole and make some new friends all the while catching up with some old friends you haven't seen in a yr. If you haven't camped out for at least a weekend here at this track , you should cause you don't know what you're missing out on! Tons of fun!!
