South Japanese Motor

After buying a lemon at United Stars Motors in south sac, I brought my vehicle here to have major work done. The staff was friendly throughout the whole process and they were also very transparent about what was going on with the vehicle. I was nervous because I had already been dealing with the stress from that used car lot. But it has been about two months since I've had this work done at this mechanic and now the car is fine. I can't say if they're over priced because my particular repair was an expensive job. But based on the customer service I received, I can imagine that they would be willing to have that discussion with anyone who visits them.

I'd give zero star if possible. Do not come to this shop, they do not know how to fix car, destroyed my car's compressor and I ended up paying $2000 out of my own pocket to pay for replacement. Initially I went there to replace a simple thermostat for Toyota Prius, the car was dropped off without any issues and when I received the car back, I ended up with Hybrid battery issue and my AC stop working. BJ the shop owner avoided any responsibility. Frustrated, I went to Toyota dealer for diagnostic and found out that when thermostat was replaced, the coolant water drip on the compressor plug. The dealer suspected that this shop unplug the compressor cable to gain more room to work but didn't understand that compressor plug has to be covered / protected from any coolant. They overcharge pretty much they double the price on all the parts that I need. If I would have just brought the parts myself I could have same $1000. Crazy right? I would recommend buying your own parts if you to decide to go to this shop. I would recommend not even going to the at all because it seems as if they are looking to overcharged people. Find other shop to take your car to you'll save a lot of money

When I called in to have an alignment done on 2005 Honda Odyssey they quoted a lower price but when I brought it in and used my Costco discount they charged a $50 difference. Also it didn't help to inform me the car was done and ready to go. One time and the last time.

I brought my Yaris in today with issues that I was just holding off on forever it seems. I chose this shop according to Google search & reviews. Best choice ever. I dealt with Jim & his team. And let me tell you, the service was amazing. They were able to fix my car on the same day (never happened before in history). Jim is very knowledgeable & transparent. I was really impressed with the turn around time. Instead of making me wait for my repairs to be completed. Jim dropped me off at home. I later returned for my Yaris & I brought my Porsche with me for him to check on some issues. His team was able to fix the issues & saved me $2300 in repair cost. The price is very reasonable & there’s no pressure whatsoever. Once all 2 vehicles were completed. Jim was able to drive one of my cars home
