Big thanks to the kind folks at STC! We called on a Friday morning to get our daughter’s car in for brake repair; they called back with a reasonable quote and noted she needed new tires. They stayed until nearly 5:30 that same day (past closing time) to finish the job! Very impressed with the quality of work and professionalism.

Southern Tire saved my day today. I’ve taken my cars to them for a few years now and have always had good service. But today I was basically stranded with a nail in my tire and needed to get to my daughter’s school for a Christmas play in a very short amount of time. They got my tire fixed asap and I made to the play with time to spare! I’m so grateful we have a compassionate and trustworthy car shop in the neighborhood. Can’t thank them enough for today.

They are awesome! So nice and trustworthy, hard to find these days. Fixed a nail in my tire, (run flat), and they even cleaned the front of my car that had paint on it from a recent accident with my garage door. Car was recently at bmw dealership and they didn’t even clean the paint off. 💯 recommend them.

I went to Jiffy Lube for an oil change and they told me my rear rotors and brakes needed to be replaced at 36k miles, I know more than they think I know (because I'm a woman) and declined. Although, they told me, I didn't have time to wait. I knew I probably didn't need them, let alone even brakes and shoes. The guys at Southern are super honest and told me mine were still like new. I did need 4 new tires but that I knew. They were very honest, reasonably priced and close to home. They finished replacing my tires and alignment all in same day, well before they closed. I highly recommend to everyone and will definitely be going back for all my auto needs!

While I write this I am still hesitant because it feels wrong after so many great years of personal service. We have been coming to this Tampa landmark for over 20 years and just recently had them outfit 3 of our cars with brand new sets of tires. Yesterday at 3:45, they close at 5, my husband brought 4 tires in to have put on his truck. Keeping in mind they don’t offer appointments . The employee was abrupt and rude. His words verbatim “man we want to get out of here, I still have to do closing duties and it’s a holiday weekend, my guys want to get out of here too” . My husband explained it was the first day in weeks he could get there from work. The employee said to him “we don’t come to you” no shit, pretty sure we know that!
