Southern Tire Mart at Pilot

I had heard of Southern Tire Mart from online RV Forums, which were positive and seemed to have competitive pricing when shopping for a new set of 6 RV tires. The Ocala, FL location was the closest to my home. Within no time I had a written estimate and a plan. The tires were ordered amd arrived the next day. I was at their shop the following morning for installation of 6 Toyo 315/80/22.5 tires and I feel I made best choice using Southern Tire Mart in Ocala. A great experience.

First, I took my new Class A RV in because of a front end shake. Larry and his team found a balance issue and corrected it in record time. 2 days later, my ride had improved so much up front, I felt the rear duals needed balancing as well. The very first wheel wouldn't balance and Larry felt we should break it down and find out if it's a wheel out of round issue, etc. What they found was a large amount of liquid paste tire sealant inside all 4 wheels. It was giving me bad TPMS issues plus balancing problems beyond belief. His team broke them all down, washed all the sealant out and dried them. Then, they balanced them up right!!! These folks are AMAZING!! They work with semi tires but I had a flat on my BMW sedan and they helped me locate, pick up, & put on a new tire. Everyone was so helpful and kind. I was 2 hrs away from home and they were lifesavers! Thank you! Go here truck drivers! They’re the best!!

People, be careful and make sure to ask for the price when you call and when you’re at the shop. The reason for my review is that I called in the morning to ask about the price to balance the two front tires on my truck the clerk told me it would be between $85 and $90 total, but when I took the truck in that afternoon, they charged me a different price: exactly $54.99 for each tire, plus taxes. The price isn’t the problem it’s the misinformation given to the customer. Right now, I feel like I was misled and charged between $15 and $25 more, for whatever reason.

So we had a crazy dilemma! We were traveling from Colorado Springs to West Palm Beach and we made it all the way with a Budget trailer hauling my husband‘s car on it. The Budget trailer was legit giving Budget. We had noticed two of the tires kind of getting flat and we pulled over at a gas station and one of them was completely flat by that point. I called Southern tire Mart and they did not have the tire but said that if we could get the trailer to them and go purchase a tire then we could bring it there to be fixed. We were able to find a tire, but when they tried to install it, we found out that the wheel was bad as well. They referred us to tractor supply where we were able to find the tire and wheel together and brought it back and not only did they install that but they also install
