Took my vehicle to have a distributor put in filled out the paperwork told they take a couple days take it in on May 16th got it back June 2nd I took my own parts in he gave me a price when I went back and picked my vehicle up he tripled the price can you tell me why he didn't use my parts. Drove off didn't make it 5 Miles brought back the following day June 2nd saw burned wires said he would fix 24 days later still had not touch it so I call and let them know am having my truck towed from his shop he charged me again for more work not done. The only thing I ever learn from him was about his lawyer problem never about my ride. I call no response this was the worse automotive place I ever dealt with unprofessional never give feedback. Been dealing with Doug for a while now & he works on both of my cars. My truck had been leaking in the inside for almost 2 years so I mention it to him & he shot a couple things at me that he was going to check out. Well come to find out my sunroof’s drain was clogged. No problems since, he even got my heat/defrost operating better in my truck! Having car issues call Southside Auto & ask for Doug. Great experience with this shop! Competent and informative mechanics, and the fastest I've ever gotten my vehicle repaired. They fixed a big screw up done by a previous shop and assured me if I had any problems with their work to bring it back and they'd take care of it. Definitely recommend this place

I always take my truck here whenever i need work done. The staff are knowledgeable and i have confidence in the work they do. I work down the street from them and have gotten to know their reputation as solid mechanics. Thank you southside for keeping my vehicle in great shape.

Very dishonest. Took advantage of the fact I was from out of town. Promised to help me out on a problem that surfaced when my car was in their hands, when I called to schedule the service again, the owner acted like he never promised to help and hung up on me.
