Mike did an absolutely fantastic job on the undercoating of a classic JDM import. As a person with an obsessive attention to detail myself, I can be a tough customer. Mike has a similar desire for perfection and provided a level of service that is virtually nonexistent these days. Speakman is old school service from a guy that clearly cares about his work and genuinely enjoys what he does. It’s like a middle finger right in the face of all the wishy washy, lazy, junky work that you see in so many transactions you encounter on a daily basis. I recently purchased a 2025 Honda CRV. When growing up, I remember people getting the undercarriage treated at dealerships & autobody shops to protect their vehicles from the harsh chemicals that PENNDOT puts down during the winter season. Brought in our 2011 Ford F250 to be undercoated by Mike. Mike explained the entire process to us thoroughly as well as kept us updated through every step of the process with photos. Mike did a fabulous job removing rust from the underside of my car, and protecting it from future corrosion with his incrediblly thorough coating work. He was very busy and it was the week of Thanksgiving and he completed the job a day earlier than anticipated. He sends numerous pictures showing before, during, and finished progress, which is very informative in that it details the amount of rust and dirt remediated and the thoroughness of the coting applied after remediation has been completed. I am so glad I found his shop. He definitely takes personal responsibility and pride in his work and a job well done.
