I took my car to Speedy Auto Service for a basic inspection, and was told I needed all new brakes and rotors—quoted at over $1,000. That sounded high, so I got second and third opinions. Both other shops told me the brakes were completely fine. No repairs were needed, and we passed our inspection elsewhere without any issues. It’s extremely frustrating to feel like someone might be trying to take advantage of you—especially with something as expensive and safety-related as brakes. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop. Always get a second opinion.
