The service is top notch. Eddie will address what is needed and will give you the most reasonable quote and options before completing the job. One thing to remember is that they do have a lot of loyal customers. Patience is needed if you expect repairs and services to be done right. As part of the entertainment committee, you get a chance to chill out with Mono and Lisa while you wait.

My car wouldn’t start, so I called a mobile mechanic. After diagnostic, he informed me he believed it was a starter issue. Unfortunately, getting to the starter of my Jeep Compass is complicated and labor intensive, so the mobile mechanic couldn’t get it done. Car was towed to Spirit and I consider myself lucky to have found them on Google when I did a quick search that morning. Everyone I interacted with at Spirit was very friendly. I spoke mainly with Eddie and he was professional and patient in explaining everything. It took 2 days to get my car back (they’re very busy there and again, my jeep is complicated). After receiving an unreasonably high quote for a neutral safety switch repair at a nearby Pep Boys, I chose to bring my vehicle to Spirit Service Center. They had previously completed my NYS inspection, so I felt confident returning for a repair estimate. I am grateful for Eddie’s professionalism and honesty throughout the process. The service was ok. They painted the front bumper of our car. But now we have 2 scratches in the back bumper and fender. They moved the car at least 8 times a night from the garage to the street. for 3 nights.They did not want to admit that it could've been from that. Our car notifies when it moves. They are now 2 deep scratches that were not there earlier. When confonted they kept saying it's dust. And kept trying to rub it off. When they couldn't rub it off, they said "oh well it was already there. We are not responsible". The Fender paint job was ok at best.

My son only takes his car to Eddie, who consistently provides honest assessments and more than reasonable pricing. The shop is always busy as his following is fiercely loyal. Eddie never takes advantage of the elderly or disabled and he understands how difficult it is to be a working class person. His work ethic and the respect he bestows all his clients has no rival. Throughout the decades, we have all come to the same conclusion. Yes, Eddie is a great mechanic but he is also the type of decent human being who we all would want to have as a friend given the indefatigable passion with which he protects us, ensuring safety and the preservation of our dignity. He never talks down to anyone and goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable.
