Springfield Villa

This place needs shut down immediately. The level of neglect is appalling. I have worked in healthcare for a long time and I’ve never seen anything so bad. Visited a patient there, she had been there for several days. Her teeth hadn’t been brushed, clothes were filthy and not even her clothes. Her sheets and blanket was covered in something I’m not even sure what it was. They had her over medicated with nothing to eat or drink. Bruises all over her. Staff standing around and gossiping instead of taking care of the patients left sitting in the hallway or roaming around. Absolutely disgusted by this establishment.

This place is not for human this place had lady get spider bit twice om hand on leg told them and waited so long she had toxic in her blood end up in hospital come out they was cutting both places to keep drainING then some women in room with her she keeps room dark door shut but back to the sick one she wonted to go out and they got her to edge of bed causedr order with leg put in chair well they left her on edge bed left she fell off bed to floor between bed and night stand broke rib about 7 days the nurse called 2 nurse practices, don't call ems nurse their check vital and sugar sent to wont to be dr. Still no dr final had picture taken sent to him she was shaking cold and man in snacks called he lost job she lost 2 units blood ems had to shock her 3 to 5 times she was in wcic

My father, Mike, was just here for a brief stay. He had pancreatic cancer and was in his final days when he arrived. Every request I made was heard and the staff acted quickly. There were so many ladies and a couple gentlemen who treated him with much respect and kept him clean and tried to make sure he left this world with dignity and grace. The most heartbreaking time in my life was made a lot easier by the care he received here. Everyone from the aides, nurses, to front office did a wonderful job caring for him. The staff accomodated for me to stay overnight with my dad, which was beyond appreciated. I cannot thank this staff enough for all they did. They were in the room with me when he passed, hugged me, cried with me, and expressed their sympathy to me and my family. I would highly

My mother spent 3 days here. Nursing staff was very unprofessional and incompetent. Mother never received a bath, hair wash, teeth cleaning or had her clothing change. She had a medical emergency and I was not notified. 12 hours later a family member visited and found her very ill and called me. I had her immediately transfered to hospital. Turns out she had covid and pneumonia . Clint the administrator does not have residents as a priority! He is arrogant and aggressive. The only caring person I met in that place was the social worker.

The incompetence of the staff at this place is astounding. My grandma has dementia so it is hard to find a place that has a memory unit to take care of her. We moved her in to this place with the hopes that she could remain close to family. Little did we know what was to come. She had a medical emergency and instead of caring for her she was placed in her bed and left there. We were not notified about this incident either. It was just by chance that someone stopped in to see her the next morning and found her in a terrible state. When the staff was questioned about what was going on with her they claimed to not know but were just about to check on her at 10 in the morning. The incident took place the night before. So we made them call an ambulance and take her to the hospital. While being
