I took my Tahoe to the dealership I purchased it from for some repairs since my check engine light came on. They quoted me more than $8k to do the work. I took my Tahoe to Star Automotive on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 for a 2nd opinion without telling them what the dealership said. Star Automotive called me on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 morning, explained everything wrong with my vehicle, and completed the job the same day for less than $800. I was able to go get my car the very next day. They even recommended I go to another place to replace a tire sensor. They said the one they could order wasn't a good choice and good price compared to the place they recommended. I would tell anybody, go see these guys. They are professional and really care about the well being of their customer

I tell you what, if you are looking for some good, honest, dependable, trustworthy, and professional mechanics Star Automotive is the place you need to be at!!!! Took my SUV to them and they took care of her. You know you are in the right place when the mechanic asks you, who has been chopping up your ride!!!!! As per the pricing, I think if you would have gone to the dealership or FS, you would have paid a lot more than what I did here!!! Thank you all over there at STAR automotive for keeping my ride going!!!!

I had a great experience with this mechanic. I brought my vehicle in to have the brake pads checked and asked him to give me a call before doing any work, just in case it was only the front or rear axle that needed attention. He called me back just like I asked, and to my surprise, he told me the brake pads still had about 75% life left on them. He was honest, straightforward, and didn’t try to upsell or do unnecessary work—and he didn’t charge me for the inspection. That kind of integrity is rare these days. Highly recommend!

This place is great. Called to set an appointment and got in when we needed to to fix air conditioning. Dropped it off on a Thursday afternoon, they called me Friday morning with what the issue was and the cost, then by end of day I had the car back all fixed. Will for sure use them in the future with any of my car repair needs.

Highly recommended. Found an issue with my car that perplexed a dealer and 2 other mechanics that made previous car owner give up. Charged a reasonable price as well. Friendly, quick and fair.
