I had been searching for a used Toyota Corolla for some time. One morning, a Toyota Corolla that State Side Auto Sales had available came up in my searching. After looking at the pictures and also looking at the Carfax I purchased for the vehicle, I decided I would like to buy it. I called State Side and, from the beginning, they were polite, knowledgeable, courteous, willing to help, and professional. I trusted them and sent them my driver license information as well as credit card information. They sent a video of starting the car to show that it was functioning and did not have warning lamps lit. BLUF: I was sold a lemon and lost $12,000 between purchasing the car, repairs, and a blown engine a year later. The car was a total loss. State Side refused to communicate even though there is strong reason to believe they did not disclose known mechanical issues at the time of purchase. The buying experience was great. Purchased a 2003 Toyota camry today, they were very Accommodating to meet us after hours to deliver the vehicle. Was so impressed they filled the tank up with gas, was not even expecting that. Was about to leave and he noticed the windshield glass wasnt cleaned to his expectations and cleaned it again. This type of service you dont find often. To top it off he is a Navy Veteran. Beware of State Side Auto Sales LLC!! On May 15, 2020 I was looking for a vehicle for my daughter. We test drove a 2009 VW Jetta. Allistar Kinyon (the owner) advised us that it took a bit for the AC to kick in but otherwise it was a reliable car. He spoke to us about his work with veterans and how he was an honest person.
