State Transmission Parts

Took me a long time to write this review. I’ve been having transmission shuttering and slipping for over a year now. I refuse to go back. Okay, I bought a traverse who recently just had a transmission rebuild by this place. The transmission started shuttering really bad about 3 months in. Mind you, I had to pay for an alignment after the initial rebuild. Took it to the shop once it started shuttering, they don’t keep any records because and I quote “computer would get too full”. Comical. Anyways. They confirmed it was shuttering and had to keep it for about a week waiting for a “part”. I live 3.5 hours away. They called and told me it was done about 4 or 5 days later. They still charged me $350 to service it. And again, they don’t have records or anything. Had to also pay for another wheel

I've used this transmission place of business for the past 6 or 7 years now. They're done me right every time. I first did mu 2008 work Van, then my mini handicap van, then my ram 3500 pick truck, then my Ford Expedition, then my GMC suburban just this past week. Never had a problem, and the price just can't be beat. What else can I say other than I'm a super happy customer. I don't care what others say, I'm good with this place.

I took my 2004 GMC Denali AWD in for a transmission and transfer case rebuild and I do consider myself a heavy foot driver so I know I abuse and stress out my drivetrain. Since my rebuild, she has been running amazing and the fluid does not burn over (I checked the dipstick every month or 2) This was all over a year ago, Great work with a quality price!

This place was absolutely horrible! I spent $1800 for the to put a transmission in that was worst then the one I brought it in for. Then gave me the run around about the 6 month warranty and never fixed it! Now I’m out $1800 and never got fixed

I don't think they follow the law on rebuilds I think they just replace the part that they find bad and don't replace anything else in the transmission and they don't clean the transmission out either I'm taking my 2nd transmission back to them that didn't even make it a minute after install before hearing loose parts in the transmission
