I have become a loyal customer to Steve in the past couple years. Steve's quality of work is second to none and always done in a timely manner. He is a true honest mechanic who will tell it like it is and will NEVER sell you anything you don't need. Steve even went the extra mile to help me with my parts warranty I got through him when my alternator went out 550 miles from home. Thank you Steve!

I had a squealing sound coming from my brake after recently having all four brakes replaced less than 3 mos ago. I moved here from out of state so taking my car back to the shop that did my brakes wasn’t an option. Steve’s shop has so many positive reviews I decided to take my car there and felt it was a safe choice. I called and described the issue and was told it was possibly just a dust cover rubbing against my wheel since I had just paid to have all 4 brakes done less than 3 mos ago. I figured it wouldn’t be more than $100 to take a quick look and tell me if it was that or what. If not I figured they’d tell me the cost before I racked up a bill. Steve at Steve Auto Repair in Tea, SD. does excellent work, for Steve is knowledgeable and competent with basically all cars, whether old systems or newer highly electronic models. He is a little pricey but he is aware of and sensitive to needy persons who need some economic consideration. Highly recommended.

I will never take my car to him.. ever.. he charged my dad $62.00 to plug a flat tire. The plug itself was $12.00. I get paying the money for the plug and like 20.00 to fix it but 50.00 is out of this world. My dad asked him how much just to put his spare on? He said " you don't want to know". If he charges 62.00 to fix plug a flat tire I don't want to know how much to put the spare on. Rip off.
