Stewart's Automotive

I'm an Iron River Local (used to use the Automotive shop back when it was A&L). I want to start this review a defense against some local mixed reviews I have heard... I myself have NEVER had an issue with Stewart's. Always five star service and work - (and really honest and good propane tank refills for that matter). I got myself in a bind last week, and had to have an emergency repair before a work trip, and they came through sooo far above and beyond. I had a fairly large suspension issue, and they were booked out busy, but they made space in their schedule and got a substantial repair done for me to allow me to complete my plans. I've probably been to this shop 3-5 times since they took over, and I've always been very happy with their service, and would definitely recommend them.

While traveling, I developed an issue with my truck. I managed to nurse it into their parking lot where they were able to quickly diagnose the problem. They provided an honest assessment as well as fair and reasonable pricing. Breaking down when you travel is your worst nightmare. It's a pleasure to come across a shop where they're professional, responsible and responsive to customer needs... i would very much highly recommend these guys, whether you're local or from out of town traveling they were super friendly and incredibly helpful.

I was in the area on the weekend and had troubles with my truck. Stewart's was able to diagnose quickly and repair my truck in a couple days allowing me to pick it up the following Saturday. They saved me the hassle of having to get a tow to Ashland and of dealing with the Chevy dealer. Thank you Stewart's!

While touring in Wisconsin I accidentally put gasoline in my diesel truck, BP station has a green handle on regular gas! I knew not to start the engine or even turn on the key. Just down the street was Steward’s Automotive. I asked for much needed help. They responded wonderfully. They pushed my truck to their shop and said they would start making necessary repairs immediately. Jay took my wife and I out to where our trailer was camped. Then Jay and Billy gave 120% effort to fix my truck. They worked till 1:00 AM removing all the gasoline contaminated fuel. By noon the next morning they had all necessary repairs made including retrieving a needed part from Duluth. I was in a very difficult situation and Billy and Jay were the consummate professionals. They helped me as if I was a

Billy and his crew has helped me and my old truck and race car issues. Even if he was extremely busy he was able to help fix my truck and get me back to work the next morning.
