Subaru Service - Germain Subaru of Columbus Service Center

The staff that helped us were very nice and overall a decent experience. However, during the negotiating part, they would only lower the total price by $100 and thats insulting from a buyers perspective. They wouldnt replace a tire that needed maintenance. We love the car itself. But, once the contract is done, I think we may take our business elsewhere.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Service at Germain Subaru of Columbus. I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but my experience at Germain Subaru of Columbus truly deserves one. I brought my car in for a mysterious noise coming from the driver’s side visor/A-pillar/dash area — something that definitely wasn’t there when the vehicle was new. Those kinds of issues can be frustrating because they’re hard to describe and even harder to replicate. From the beginning, though, I felt like they genuinely listened. Trevor, the mechanic, was patient and thorough. He didn’t dismiss the concern or rush through it. You can tell he takes pride in his work and really wanted to get to the bottom of it. I’ve been coming to Germain Subaru for shy of two years (since I moved out here) I was looking for a service center that would be as friendly and customer oriented as the one I had on the east coast. I’ve dealt with Chad many times and he’s been wonderful and helpful, addresses my concerns and questions, suggestions made by technicians. This is not to say the other staff are not helpful - I feel welcomed here. The service center can get busy at times and people shouldn’t expect to be in an out - they’re busy, imo, because they take the time to make the necessary repairs and services. Thank you all for keeping my last car on the road and thank you for the steps to continue that with the replacement. I appreciate each and every one of you at Germain!!! 20 + star service

Standard car service stuff happened: we found these issues and recommend you pay us to fix them. HOWEVER: I asked them to be detailed and was getting the detailed service intentionally because I had a trip coming up. Alpha gave me a chance to talk with the mechanic and the three of us discussed the found faults, repair time needed, and potential impact on my travel. Once I decided what repairs I wanted completed, I was provided a loaner vehicle while the parts came in. Parts got delayed (big snow storm came through) but I was kept informed on change to estimated completion. Ultimately: it was exactly what I was looking for, with additional professional courtesy on top of that!

I was traveling from out of town to visit my son when several warning lights came on in my Subaru. After being advised by my dealership to not drive home, I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best at Germaine. 😊 What a wonderful experience! From start to finish, Alpha walked me through what to expect, set up an appointment (around towing), called with the diagnostic results promptly, arranged for work to be completed and let me know when the car was ready. Every step of the process was professional and so much better than I had hoped for. Thank you to everyone involved. Highly recommend!
